About
I lead the hydrogen business of Uniper Benelux, among which the H2Maasvlakte 100-500 MW project; a Uniper flagship project. Non-Executive Director & Audit Chair at HydrogenOne Capital (LSE:HGEN), the first LSE listed investment trust focusing on clean hydrogen.
Previously Chief Operating Officer of Energy at First Hydrogen, a Canadian-listed company (CVE: FHYD) focused on developing long-range hydrogen powered utility vehicles and hydrogen production/refueling.
Earlier I was SVP of Business Development for Netherlands Hydrogen at ENGIE, and held senior positions at Gasunie, Shell and NAM. At ENGIE I was responsible for Engie’s large-scale hydrogen developments in the Netherlands, including the HyNetherlands project; a 1,85 GW renewable green hydrogen value chain in the Northern Netherlands. I have also delivered heating and oil & gas projects in the Netherlands and world-wide.
I believe that more diversity results in more innovation and better performing teams, which will be paramount in a complicated transition from a fossil-based economy to a renewable economy.
A lifelong music lover, I founded Kinderconcertjes Groningen. Classical concerts for kids from 0-99. Concerts where kids can be kids, and walk around, be loud or dance to the music.
